1. When steam is blowout, expansion rate is high and the high back pressure is applied to the riser piping on the secondary side by making the riser piping larger than the secondary pipe so that the safety valve will perform properly.
2.When the heat of steam is applied to the safety valve,the piping expands and stress is applied. To prevent this, the drippan and the riser pipe should be separated.

The expansion rate when the steam blowout is large and the ascending pipe in the outlet side will affect the large back pressure. By thickening the ascending pipe in the outlet side, the safety valve can operate normally.
When the steam heat is conducted on the safety valve, the pipe is stretched and the stress can be exerted.
Therefore, to avoid it, the Drip Pan and the Ascending Pipe should be separated for safety.
